Which?
We were invited by Which? to help them close a gap in their current online business model.
Historically Which? provided and maintained a series of expert reviews and reports on thousands of products that their subscriber base was interested in. This allowed their subscribers to find out not only the best but also the worst products in each category.
Product Finder
Which? wanted us to help continue the journey for their subscribers so not only could they find the best product for them but also the cheapest and best place to buy it from. This meant redesigning significant parts of their business processes as well as working with a large number of partners as well as in-house teams to ensure the service not only worked but was highly usable.
Integration
We provided a solution that would allow the editorial team at Which? to publish product data into the database that would drive the Reviews portion of the application.
In addition, we also integrated with PriceGrabber to display the latest product prices. Linking to the relevant PriceGrabber product was done by hand by the editorial team for greater control over the accuracy of the links.
Product Reviews
After the successful launch of this project we went on to work with Which? on a number of other projects such as allowing members / subscribers to create their own reviews to add to the main reviews. Our team worked closely with the Which? business to capture requirements and constantly ensure that the development of the project was keeping up with the ongoing changes within the organisation.
The project has been a great success and is something that Which? will continue to build on going forward.
