So often we work with external design agencies who focus too much on making their design fit well within the limitations of the project. We want to turn our projects on their heads. We want to design and build right to the limits, and ideally beyond them when we can bend the technical limitations. One thing is for sure, we don’t just want to fit within them.

We are looking for programmers with a keen eye for design. Front-end developers are responsible for ensuring the alignment of web, mobile and embedded design as well as user experience requirements, optimising our output for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all platforms we build for our clients among other duties.

Front-end developers are required to work alongside the back-end developers, to ensure all elements of our creations are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a real eye for detail.

We have an amazing group of developers with years of experience in pushing the boundaries of sites such as Red Nose Day, ITV, Cineworld, VOX Cinemas and many more. We are building our front-end development capability alongside the amazing back-end team we already have in place. This new capability will allow us to continuously learn from each other to figure out where we can push things to the edge to get the best possible solution for our clients.

You will be working in direct partnership with an experienced team on both new and existing projects, including a large international entertainment client across multiple platforms and territories. The role requires gathering design and business requirements from clients, analysing designing and implementing bespoke solutions. Must Have

Understanding of a wide range of web client technologies, including HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with JavaScript libraries such as Bootstrap
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, and Svelte
Experience creating semantic UI solutions and responsive designs
Ability to analyse requirements and design a top-level solution
Takes pride in creating concise, clear and elegant designs
Understanding of key design principles
Experience with responsive and adaptive design
Good problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

Experience of web development in a transactional environment
Experience of mobile development on either the iOS or Android platforms
Experience of ecommerce, retail, food/beverage and ticketing sites
Degree in computer science or related field
Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator.
Understanding of SEO principles.
