Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 13 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to use our websites, whatever device they use and however they use it. This statement covers www.canfactory.com and our other websites that link to it.

How accessible our websites are

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice, that means you should be able to:

  • move around every page using only a keyboard;
  • use a screen reader, with headings, links, buttons and pictures properly described;
  • zoom in up to 200% without text being cut off;
  • read text with enough contrast against its background;
  • use the sites on a phone or tablet as well as a desktop.

How we checked

In October 2026 we tested every page of www.canfactory.com and our other websites with automated accessibility checks (axe), and checked key pages by hand using a keyboard, on a phone, and with JavaScript switched off. We fixed every issue we found, including clearer button contrast, properly ordered headings, labelled image carousels and descriptions for over 70 pictures.

We check again whenever we make significant changes.

Known limitations

  • Videos on some older blog posts are hosted on YouTube. Captions and the video player are provided by YouTube, and only appear once you have accepted functional cookies; until then, we show a link to watch the video on YouTube instead.
  • Third-party features, such as the cookie banner and the spam check on our forms, are provided by other companies. We have chosen and configured them with accessibility in mind, but we do not control them entirely.
  • Older blog posts may contain pictures of text or wording we have not yet reviewed. If something stops you using our content, please tell us and we will fix it or provide it another way.

Tell us about a problem

If you find anything on our websites hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please get in touch:

Tell us the page address and what the problem is. We will reply within five working days.

Technical information

Our websites are built with standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and rely on these to work with assistive technologies.

This statement was prepared on 13 October 2026. We will review it at least once a year.
