  • Having worked with Can Factory for 5+ years, it has been nothing short of a successful relationship. Can Factory have guided VOX Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim through countless complex integrations, to enable our desired end user experience for our customers. Can Factory have proven countless times that they can deliver the most bespoke concepts that have not been done before in the cinema industry within budget and timings. Having a carefully orchestrated team, Can Factory have enabled us be agile through times where its mattered the most, especially during COVID where our business had to react to the market conditions presented to us. I am excited to see what Can Factory deliver in the future as they help to mould the cinema industry.

    Angus Saunders Head of Product
  • "Working with Can Factory has been a rewarding and educational experience that has ultimately resulted in positioning VOX as the number 1 exhibitor in the region from a digital e-commerce perspective. The team have worked extremely hard to ensure that the timezone differences and communication issues that often hamper multi-regional IT projects are always kept to a minimum. The Can Factory project management tool meant that we always knew where the project was and what was required of us and the other third parties involved in the project. All technical projects have an element of risk and complexity particularly as VOX operates across multiple territories and has significant complex requirements of our digital assets.  I am happy to say that we worked together as a team to overcome each challenge as we faced them. I look forward to working with the Can Factory team for many years to come."

  • This is a well thought out, easy to use app, and in the main, the user journeys work well for the key user goals. It ought to assist in driving Cineworld bookings.

  • The integration project went really well. For such a big project it was one of the smoothest I’ve ever undertaken in terms of the technology. The new website has delivered significant gains with major improvements in both conversion rates and visits.

  • New Media Age, reviewing Can Factory’s mobile website for Cineworld Cinemas, summed it up as “a slick, fit-for-purpose site that understands its audience.” Commenting on the apps “well-considered user journey” and “solid information hierarchy,” Vanita Tanna, Head of Information Architects and User Experience at Agency Republic, confirmed “cinemas all over the UK, a week’s worth of films for each, times, maps and directions are all easy to find.” “Once I find a film, I can securely buy tickets,” adding that the “clear, stepped payment process,” accompanied by “tips, opportunities to change my mind and a clear order confirmation” all contributed to “a smooth experience.” Touching on the usefulness of the Share My Location button, "which shows what’s screening around me,” Ms Tanna described the “friendly, informative messaging and consistent tone,” and approved the choice to dispense with ads and huge visuals in this “accessible mobile version” of the Cineworld Cinemas site. • Can Factory took over the delivery of Cineworld’s digital channels in 2008. The website, and mobile apps developed by the team at Can Factory provide vital marketing tools for us in promoting our films, festivals and products. These channels are a key window into the world of Cineworld and film, which continue to drive sales, customer acquisition and retention. Thanks in no small-part to Can Factory, they now represent one of the key strengths of the Cineworld brand and are a prime asset in our marketing strategy. Can Factory have been professional, effective and always on hand, helping us with everything from design, and build to long-term digital strategy.

  • ITV had an ambitious project to bring its website back in-house, rebuild its website and launch a brand new ITV player all to very tight deadlines. We looked for competent partners to help accelerate this project. Can Factory were chosen for their experience in high traffic web application development. Can Factory developed ITV’s Single-Sign-On application, user registration and management module, as well as the community-based modules such as forums, votes and polls. All the work Can Factory contributed was of an outstanding standard, delivered on time and professionally. I was so pleased with their initial contribution to itv.com that I engaged with Can Factory on a number of further projects after the launch.

  • The whole project was only a few months long and we were highly impressed with the code quality but more importantly for us, the attention to detail and depth of business understanding.  Their genuine ability and aptitude to chip in ideas, from the most junior coder up to senior management, with their keenness to impress, was hugely refreshing. If you are looking for a team of people that have a culture of actually wanting to help – with the technical & organisational ability to deliver that help – I’d highly recommend these guys.

  • Following the success of the 15th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers, I would like to say thank you for your invaluable help during the event.  Both your priceless advice, input and expertise made the conference one to remember for all who took part. We have had excellent feedback from the Commonwealth Secretary-General, Commonwealth Ministers and other delegates about the hard work and effort all the staff put into the event.  Once again, thank you for all of your efforts and I look forward to working with you again in the near future.

  • Sport Relief came to a climax on July 15th 2006 with a great night of TV that was the top rated programme for the whole evening and raised a brilliant £12 million with cash still coming in.  The success of the event is down to the efforts of a whole bunch of great people and we want to thank you for the part you played.  We were particularly thrilled with the Mile events round the country and the fact that over 400,000 people did the mile over the week.  There was a genuine, inspiring sense of community that we hope to continue to build on.  We were also particularly thrilled at the magnificent achievement of David Walliams in swimming the channel in ten and a half hours.  We now plan to spend all the money as well as is humanly possible.

  • Huge thanks from us all at Comic Relief for an unforgettable Red Nose Day.  The success of this year’s campaign is down to the efforts of a whole bunch of great people and we just wanted to say that we really appreciate your part in making it happen.  As you may know by now, we broke our own record for money raised on the night – a staggering £37,808,564 and already a steady flow of cash has started to come in from all the hundreds of fundraising events around the country.  We are all feeling very excited by what promises to be the best Red Nose Day ever.  Audiences turned on in their millions.  We had a 52% share at 9.30pm and a peak of 12.7 million viewers.  Over 5 million people were still watching at midnight.

  • Can Factory was our indispensable partner.  They were organised, focused, gave critical advice and seamlessly managed the process – including tendering – building camaraderie among all members of the eventual project management team.  They are bright, energetic, resourceful and positive.  The best proof of their worth is making our deadline with all technology working well - within budget.  We look forward to working together with the team on future projects.

Dr. Márcia Balisciano Benjamin Franklin House - Director
  • The Benjamin Franklin House project was a complex project with a tight time scale.  The task: take a mostly derelict, Grade I listed 1730s building and in less than a year make it a showpiece for 21st technology – opening on Benjamin Franklin’s 300th birthday in January 2006.  Your team provided the help we needed to scope, select and manage the installation of the right equipment that would deliver on our aims to create a dynamic museum and educational facility in Franklin’s only remaining home. The challenges included choosing the right technology to make the Historical Experience possible.  The Historical Experience, run from a sophisticated show control system, is a heritage first, employing a ‘museum as theatre’ approach which integrates live performance with cutting-edge sound and visual projection.  The Student Science Centre, Scholarship Centre, and offices likewise needed the technology to drive them forward.  In a building where we weren’t allowed to place a nail into any of the original panelling, they helped us work through innovative solutions including voice over IP.

  • The Bulletpoint website which you and your team designed is a significant improvement on its predecessor.  We have built in website access as part of our core value proposition and have seen an upturn in Bulletpoint renewal rates since doing so.  We have also had good feedback from customers, and most importantly, the site is operationally very efficient i.e. straightforward to update, and easy to navigate.  Thanks for your help in constructing a site we can be proud of and that supports the Bulletpoint proposition.

  • On behalf of the British Council, we would like to thank you and all at Can Factory for the support you gave to the 15CCEM Parallel Symposium.  It was great working with you and the technical support was excellent.  Many of the Symposium delegates and speakers have commented on the high level of this technical support throughout the event.  It certainly allowed us to concentrate on the programme knowing that other experts were working on the technical framework to make it all happen.  Overall, the event went extremely well and we are certainly pleased with the outcomes from the Parallel Symposium.  Thanks again to you and your team.

  • We had a first rate team of developers in-house, but when management pulled together a brief for a really heavy lifting piece of software we went to Can Factory with their java expertise.  We felt they were market leaders and would complement our in-house team’s skill sets. • We often work with tight budgets and even tighter timescales. We also normally develop in-house. However we brought Can Factory in to build us a new iPad app and get it into the store before Apple's Christmas cut-off. And they did it. With only 10 weeks to go, not only did they build us an app with all of the agreed functionality, but they also managed to complete the task with a week to spare, giving us time to release a second version with even more features. Testament to their can-do attitude and depth of experience.

The long-term partnership built with Can Factory has never ceased to impress, and they have helped ensure that we have consistently maximised the potential of all of our digital channels to drive sales, and improve customer acquisition and retention.
