Cineworld launched The Screenings Rooms luxury cinema brand (www.thescreeningrooms.co.uk) in June 2012.
The project involved user experience consultation for the ticket booking purchase process, and UI design for the overall site. The Can Factory team collaborated with the Cineworld marketing teams, and BD Network, who developed The Screening Rooms brand.
Despite only an 8-week lead time prior to launch, the underlying solution built by Can Factory for Cineworld was flexible enough to support the introduction of an entirely new Cineworld UK brand. The new site is served from the same centralised platform used for the Cineworld UK and Republic of Ireland sites, and includes both a mobile enhanced (non-responsive), and desktop version of the site.
